"M"

The movie "M" was different I'd have to say, a little strange in other words, but beautifully colored dramatized over all; one thing that old movies I'm pretty sure have in common is the shoting of the flim where it's in between fast and slow an what I mean by that is unlike metropolis with sound being the main theme of the flim charcters moving at fast speeds not following the sound at every beat  but like an old show back in the days, a love story wrapped in with hate an dishonesty. What I got out of it is that you have to give respect to get it, wheather it's someone your related to, or just an friend or worker (etc..) walk in someone elses shoes not like your self them think would you treat them different just because they may be less fortunate than you.

"Metropolis"

Personally I don't like black and white movies they make me sleepy, but since its for a my drama class I will try to get as much out of it as possible! but in doing this I did notice something that there is a hidden message behind the whole thing. In my opinion the message was that you would never know or have everything unless you've walked in those peoples shoes or had what they had. The thing that bothers me is whats the message suppose to be now since they edited it to the bone taking the story with it; and what I mean by that is when the workers and half clothed people where throwing themselves down in what looked like the clock inferno, then a massive face or monster appears making the son fear for him self-from there he changed his ways being the hero in the end, I guess what I'm saying is I wished it wasn't edited to understand one of the most cherished movies of all times.
